How to Use Bigscreen on Your Oculus Go?

You are able to use Bigscreen Beta to manage your computer. Bigscreen supports for streaming your PC’s display output to the Oculus Go, essentially making it an external display that you wear on your face.

If you installed Bigscreen Beta for your VR headset and PC, you can start setup the app for watching 3D movies, playing video games, and others!

  1. Launch Steam on your PC.
  2. Right-click Bigscreen Beta in your Steam library.
  3. Click “Play Remote Desktop streaming client” to get Room ID, Stream Resolution, and Refresh Audio options.
  4. Launch Bigscreen Beta on your Oculus Go.
  5. Select an environment in which you’d like to stream your desktop.
  6. Choose “Remote Desktop” from the “Tools” section in the menu.
  7. Select “Start” and then you will be shown a room ID.
  8. Type the room ID into the Bigscreen Beta PC app.
  9. Click a resolution at which you’d like to stream.
  10. Click “Connect”. You will now see your PC desktop within your Oculus Go.
  11. Tap “Disconnect” on your PC to stop streaming to your Go.

After finishing the settings, you can manage your PC through your Oculus Go headset now. let’s start using Bigscreen Beta to watch movies and play games with friends!
